Weekly Update Game Compatibility

This week's testing highlights: 8 games across Amazon, Epic storefronts — including cool finds like Viewfinder and Wildgate, both working out of the box.

Hope everyone’s had a great start to 2026! Sorry for the delay with this week’s post, we only got back to the boat on January 4th. The holidays were exactly what we needed: lots of time with family and a proper break. We’re slowly getting back into the swing of things now. We couldn’t test all the games given away over the break, but we’ll catch up on the ones we missed in next week’s post.

Housekeeping Notes

A few quick updates before we dive into the games:

  • Decky Loader + 2.0 Conflict: If running both together, use the TEST channel build. It’s the same stable build, just packaged without a component that conflicts with Decky (since Decky already includes it). We’re using the TEST channel to keep it separate and easy to distinguish.
  • Extended Trials: Trials for Junk Store 2.0 have been extended to 21 days for the rest of the month. Plenty of time to test everything out and see if it works for your setup.
  • GOG Extension: Exclusively available through the Junk Store Portal. All Patreon/Ko-fi supporters have been migrated — sign in with your original email to access.

  • Junk Store 2.0: v2.3.1.0 (for itch.io use Extension Channel: beta)
  • Junk Store Plugin: v1.1.12 (Test Store - should be merged to Main soon)
  • GOG Extension: v0.1.10 (can be purchased & downloaded from the Junk Store Portal)
  • Decky Loader: v3.2.1 (Prerelease)
  • Proton: GE-Proton 10.26
  • SteamOS: v3.7.17 (Stable)

Looking Forward

Next week’s free game lineup is already looking good. Epic Games is giving away Bloons TD 6 again, and Amazon Luna (Prime Gaming) has three GOG titles: DeathKeep, Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics, and Brigador: Up-Armored Edition. We’ll get those tested and included in next week’s post.
